In the Box: What Arrives When You Order a ShredShox

The first production run is shipping today and the first orders are leaving the warehouse. If you have ordered, or you are deciding to, here is exactly what shows up at your door and what to do with it in the first hour — before you ever click in.

01 // The box

One box, one platform, everything you need

A ShredShox order ships as a complete system: the ski, the suspension platform built into it, a set of Tyrolia Attack adjustable bindings, a shock pump, and the carry strap. Nothing to source separately. The bindings are installed to the platform— a qualified technician, sets your DIN and checks forward pressure. Ten minutes at any shop.

02 // The numbers

At a glance

162 cm 175 cm
Tip / waist / tail 129 / 86 / 116 mm 133 / 87 / 120 mm
Turn radius 14 m 14 m
Weight per ski (approx.) 1,725 g 1,800 g
Shocks Four adjustable air shocks, two per ski, 275 psi max
Bindings Tyrolia Attack, adjustable, included

Same 14 m radius in both lengths — the turn shape does not change, only how much ski is under you.

03 // The shocks

Charge them before you ride

Use the pump in the box to set all four to the same pressure for a balanced baseline, then go ride. After a few runs you will know whether you want more support or more give, and that is when you start dialing them individually. ShredShox recommends starting at 50-60lbs of pressure and fine tune your preferences up or down depending on your specific riding style.

04 // The strap

Carry it with ease

The carry strap in the box loops the whole platform over one shoulder — car to lift, lift to car. Thirty seconds, once.

05 // The first day

Give it two runs

The first run or two is an acclimation period: the ski gives a completely new sensation then a non-suspension ski. Once that stops being surprising, ski the way you normally would and start dialing in.

“I could turn my mind off and make beautiful turns.”
